Edit: Didn't see you were flying from FLR. You could fly Lufthansa if you fly from there (Swiss doesn't fly from FLR), definitely a good option for you MP miles. You might even get on the A380 from FRA to IAH.
The A380 flight was not available for miles during my time frame unfortunately. That was the only "United" flight that I would consider as it had a personal IFE system.
What's this a la cart feature for AF?
I'm not much of an international flyer. I've become less of domestic flyer as of late. I thoroughly enjoyed flying Singapore Air last year. I have pretty high expectations now!
