We are going to Florida in a few weeks and i'm probably going to use Rapid Rewards points to get a rental car (yes i know that's not the best way to spend RR but i'm trying to do this trip with as little out of pocket as possible). I was wondering if anyone had experience booking a car using points then trying to use a free upgrade coupon (paper coupon) at the counter when picking up the car? Alamo/National and Enterprise are the companies i'm considering.
