Is it really so bad in J now? I had good experience in July & August in J...
Also in Y in November & December

Well, I always had opinion that food in Y is as good as food in J, just on plastic and less to choice. But it was (is) positive kind of thinking. Now is it really so bad?
I will have chance to check it in March (Y) and April (J).

Actually I've found food on the plane in J (e.g DXB-GIG sector) better then in lounge in DXB..(which imho was in 2013 not as good as when I was in DXB lounges in 2010).
I've found food in BKK lounge better then in DXB...but still DXB was not so bad. just on plane was even better.

Anyway, what about EK318 and EK317?

Edit:
Just noted I should had new economy service on my Y flights (it was 4 and 5 December).
Strange, I was not aware of it although I was eating it...
maybe it's not so bad?
