Guy and all, I am also abit confuse about Elite Sectors on MH.

Here is taken from their FAQ

What are Elite Sectors?
Elite Sectors are used to track an Enrich member’s qualification towards Enrich Silver and Enrich Gold tier status. An Elite Sector is a flight from origin to destination which carries a single flight number. Elite Sectors can only be earned on Malaysia Airlines operated flights on Economy, Business and First Class. Elite Sectors may not be used for the redemption of Enrich Awards.
Am I correct to say, the sector calculation is only solely on MH flights. If you take OW flights it will only count toward Elite Miles?

Also in the website, it states :
Economy - 1 sectors
Business - 2 sectors
First - 3 sectors

Does it mean even if I book O class which only earn like 50% miles, will I get full 1 sectors?

Given sometimes they do have cheap flight between SIN and KUL/KCH and O class, if it will get 1 sectors, then it will be good way to complement some biz class trip.

A round trip biz class trip from SIN to HKG will earn you 8 sectors. So you only need 6-7 business class trip on MH via KUL.

BTW, will domestic flight still earn 0.25 sectors (which I kind of saw in the old threat). also will SIN-KUL considered as domestic flight?

Anyone can confirm? If you flight MH quite frequently, may worth to switch to Enrich.
