I am looking to book a one way inter-Europe flight in late May for my family of six. When I search on BA the site tells me that there are "only 3 seats left at this price" (80euro). I did a separate search for Avios seats for 3 and came up with availability for points and taxes (more than 80E but less than the next category of seats if I buy them outright). I am concerned that if I buy three 80E seats, that might affect the inventory of Avios seats.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Do you think the availability of those seats is related? Could I make two buys-one for three paid seats and one for three Avios seats on two computers simultaneously and game the system?
