Not all taxis take credit cards, and as of mid-July 2013 ComfortDelgro & Transcab taxis do not take visa as a result of a dispute between CDG & Visa regarding surcharges imposed on CC transactions.

Ask the starter specifically for a taxi that takes the CC you want to use, and verify with the cabbie before you get in the taxi.
