When I was Gold via my Ukraine address, there was no number on the card at all.

Once I got a UK based card, the UK number was printed.

I agree that the numbers for UK and US gold lines are no secret and can be used by any gold member. However, if you are not gold, don't expect anything other than the agent to politely hang up on you.
