At investor day a year 2012, I asked a question about AmEx reimbursement for SC swipes and the VP who answered my question said he couldn't give me specifics about DL's reimbursement but that their recapture rate was basically the entire fee minus a credit card fee for guests. For the cardholder, he was a bit more cagey but suggested that the negotiated rate was around 50-70% of the $25 (at that time) guest fee. Wonder if anyone has more definite figures on this.
