Can I open a 2nd AAdvantage account?
I have searched for this topic but the thread I found related to a different query to mine.
I'm UK based and opened an account many years ago. It hasn't been used as AA promptly cancelled their flights from my local airport.
Am about to fly AA again and I can't login as I have no password. Clicking on 'Forgotten password' leads to an error page. (System is down for a few minutes) This has been so since last week.
I called the number given on the UK site and got connected with someone who didn't know anything. I was a bit miffed as I had to pay to find that out. He gave me a USA number.
I can't email Aadvantage - you need to login to do that.
I don't want to waste any more time or money calling.
So I'm wondering if it would be ok to get a new email address and just start anew. I wouldn't ever use the old account again but I don't want to break any rules and jeopardise miles.
