Right, because we know so much about how much the ticket cost, whether he was required to fly UA by his work, and other variables. We sure are quick to blame the person here aren't we? I sympathize with anyone who has to fly that long a flight on an RJ choice or not.
Agreed. If he has to deal with a corporate travel dept, many options may not be available. And on top of that, flying UA to LAX and then transit to QF incurs a massive misconnect risk...
