Just reviewing this thread as I have an upcoming stay for 1 week in February. I have booked a Marvelous Suite and was reading about the lingering smell of smoke due to the partying in the rooms. Have people had issues with this type of suite as well? I was already considering downgrading to a standard room and if there is a chance that this will be an issue, that will help seal my decision to change room categories.
Have been in Marvelous suite for over 60 nights, and not once did I smell smoke. I did however smell smoke from neighbors across the way (which are Spectacular rooms).
It is getting harder to get M suite upgrades on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights). On our last trip, we were "stuck" in a wonderful room. Not even an upgrade to fabalous room (one above the wonderful). So, we have began to use SNA here.
