I have still run into my fair share of rude agents. Exec check-in this morning at YYZ was line up into the hallway. Usually I express but the line up at express was even worse. At the exec check-in. Three agents working than one apparently had to go on break or something leaving two. Many people not impressed. Luckily I was at the front of the line when this occurred and the agent was quite pleasent to me.
I still don't understand why they don't have agents on call to take care of large line-ups when they develop. They should know that at 7am when a lot of domestic and transborder are leaving that the agents are going to be busy. A novel idea would be to staff these times appropriately.
This morning they even had a back log at security through domestic and re-routed a bunch of us through rapidair security.
Maybe the new building will help. Here's hoping.
