For 2/14 weekend I'm debating both Essex at 45K/night and Lexigton (Autograph) at 40K/night. I've stayed at Essex when it was a Westin many years ago. I always like the quaint feel of the property.

It seems like the extra 5K is a no brainer, though, but comments about the Lexington are also generally positive.

Anyone here care to compare the two in terms of room comfort, size, staff, amenities, etc.?
