I've stayed about 20 times in the W Taipei and almost every stay has been in the Marvelous suite. It really is as travelswithmyself notes: Std plat upgrade. I can recall one Fabulous suite stay and two times upgrade to Spectacular room when no suites were available.

Zero times any smell of smoke in the rooms or anywhere else for that matter. Though I would not be surprised if party people would smoke in the Wow or Extreme Wow suites and just pay the cleaning fee/fine (5-10k TWD ~165-330 USD). I don't think that would be a major cost component in that night...
