Seeing seat availability before booking?
It’s been a while since I’ve had to book a BA flight myself so was wondering if anyone can tell me if you can see the seat availability of a flight before committing to purchasing tickets?
The other half and I are wanting to do LHR/LGW to LAS WT+ for my 30th birthday in May and we don’t want to be stuck in the middle row, we would prefer the to be in the two seats at the window - think it’s seats A,B,G & H. Don’t want to spend £1000+ each for a ticket to discover we don’t get the seats we want!
If you can’t tell on the BA website, is there some other site I could check on? Or if I book over the phone is the agent able to look for me before booking? I’m a Silver card holder if that makes a difference.
Also, we’ve been saving up our Avios points for the last year with the intention on upgrading to CW. Am I correct in saying if the BA website is showing there are now Reward Flights available on our route in May in CW then it means there are no Avios upgrade seats available too? That they’re one and the same just two different ways of getting the seat?
