What hassles?
I used to stay 15 minutes away from GLA. With it being one of those small regional airports it was so quiet you could turn up 45 minutes before departure and be in LHR airside 2 hours after leaving the front door......much quicker than some London based people I bet.
The West Highland Way was a few steps from my mansion (which cost the same as a dingy one bedroom London flat)....the air was fresh and salmon could be seen leaping the falls in the river. Deer, badger, fox and wildebeest could regularly be seen roaming the garden. What more could one want?
