Please forgive me for hijacking this thread, but I have one question. There is no passport control when entering Mexico at SY crossing, and there are regular domestic flights from Tijuana to prety much anywhere in Mexico. Does it mean a non-Mexican national can travel to any part of Mexico for as long as desired and then exit back through Tijuana? I know there are immigration and customs checkpoints on the roads 25 km (?) from the border, but what about air travel from border region to interior and back?
