Contact the baggage claim office at your destination, and at the destination your aircraft continued to (If you can find it on flight aware).
I left mine MIA-LHR flight (AA) a few months ago, LHR did not find it, so I called JFK since the aircraft was going there. AA Lost and Found in JFK confirmed they had it.
