If Orbitz Sells Ticket with First flight On UA, will it be on 016 Stock?
I am finding Y fares to CAI hundreds of dollars cheaper through Orbitz than ua.com
These are itins with first flight from SHD to IAD on UX followed by multiple *A flights.

I think I heard somewhere that when a travel agent sells a ticket, it is issued by the carrier of the first flight in the routing. Is this true?

If so, am I correct that these tickets would be issued on 016 stock and that the whole itin will apply for PQD?
