Being ATL based, the ATL-NRT direct is quite nice and on refurbished planes, and gets me to HKG with one stop.

In Michigan, MSP and DTW, like other posters have said, are your gateways. Still going to take two stops though (either via NRT or SEA, beginning in June), as the DTW-HKG non-stop is now gone (unfortunately!).
