Despite what many say, I find the 2-for-1 annual certificate quite useful. If you are flexible on dates, airports and destinations, you can find some good deals. I always use the coupon for first class coast-to-coast. Thus, I think it brings enough extra value to the mix that I keep the reserve even though I have a Plat Card, lifetime SkyClub, current Diamond status.

As an aside, with the new partnership DL has with Virgin Atlantic, I also added the Virgin Atlantic Master Card for times when places don't take AMEX and for periods when I have met whatever spend level I find useful on the reserve card. I find Virgin miles far more valuable than Sky Pesos and the Virgin BoA card provides 1.5 Virgin miles per dollar spent generally and 3 miles per dollar spent on Virgin.
