And Easyjet are taking up the NCL - LGW service, at least they have decent sized aircraft. I don't think it will last for long unless Easyjet finally introduce the much rumoured connecting flights service out of LGW.

The tram service at EDI is clearly ready, I nearly crashed into a tram by South Gyle last week (so it's time to go Continental in my driving habits again), and the station is right by the entrance of the airport. Unfortunately they are shifting all the airport buses further out to create space for construction traffic. It's 35 minutes from the centre but it's not perfect. There are good interchanges at Edinburgh Park station (8 minutes from the airport) and Haymarket, but it seems a bit of a hike from Waverley station.

All of which is crazy when you consider there is already a fast railway line hundreds of metres away on the Turnhouse side of the terminal building.
