You don't need a day rate room, Sofitel will let let you use their gym facilities for a fee. Sofitel gym use is free if you receive a spa treatment.

You could also try the Hilton in T4.
Interesting. At £25 it's cheaper than the day rate at the Sofitel but still a high price for a place with only 3 treadmills and no guarantees on their availability.
