As to the meal, normally beef, chicken, fish or pasta. Standard European menu with appetizer, salad, main dish, cheese and dessert. Appetizer usually OK, main dish nothing to call home about. Ex-Canada cheeses are usually not great either.
Wines are downright bad. Champagne seems to have improved with less dosage than before. Port with cheese is OK, main excuse to have the cheese.
