Answering my own query...........
A 3-night family stay after New Year's highlights # of reasons to stay here:
- complimentary room upgrade to a deluxe room (650 square feet, sleeps 6), a corner suite;
- indoor salt - water pool, and 2 outdoor heated pools (a great place to hang out when it is - 30 Celsius!);
- two outdoor skating rinks where we enjoyed skating and even played hockey. They even provide marshmallows to roast at night!
- A small tubing slide on site - great for kids!
- complimentary outdoor parking;
- an over-sized exercise room where the staff comes around periodically to offer glasses of water!
- we had breakfast and 2 dinners at BelleRive Restaurant and prices are comparable to dining out in LaMalbaie. The quality was good.

The Fleuve St. Laurent in the winter is breathtaking. Ice floes move constantly with the tides, and iceberg-like chunks of ice everywhere. Nearby, you can visit Iles Au Coudres and Le Massif & Grand Fonds ski hills.
