Baku airport is not at all a third world landing strip somewhere in the jungle as some of the FTers think. What I do not understand is why SQ had to fly in staff from Istanbul and Moscow to serve water and juice to the passengers as was shown on pictures shown on facebook by SQ?
Is it true that the stranded passengers had to wait 30 hours in Baku until they were able to take off for SIN? Why SQ did not rebook passengers on OS, LH, SU, TK, BA, QR and other airlines operating from Baku?
