That actually seems relatively realistic, given that I was quoted US$800 for a one-way ICN-FRA-IAD in C.
It doesn't seem THAT bad, however, I guess it prices that out at a near US$14,000 revenue ticket!
Did you take a look at the C fares on NZ that allow transit from London to Auckland (and then onward, naturally) via West-bound (through LAX) or East-bound (through HKG)?
Also, one last thing - have you thought about a RTW flight as well?
Again, thanks for posting the Infant fare, I enjoy reading about them and keeping my options open for the last ~10 months that I'll be able to purchase the fares (that is, until the next kid...) ^
