Just like we let market forces decide on US-Europe routes where AC tries to poach traffic.
Even as an economic conservative I donīt believe that the market forces will create an efficient market environment - especially when the market is an oligopoly (since perfect competition isnīt a viable option in the airline industry).
No regulation of the airline industry could easily result in a market environment thatīs much more harmful than the current environment. IMO AC could do with a little more competition, but Iīm not convinced lifting all restrictions will benefit anyone (except the ME carriers).
