They wanted to just charge everything to their card, but not only is my card already on file, my venue is considered "travel," so 2x on CSP. I wasn't about to give that up.

tldr; So my question is: If I go ($975 A -> B), and then ($1000 C -> A), is that going to draw much attention? I only think it would because for the next 6 months, I'll be pretty much maxing out my send AND receive limits. While the C -> A transfer is a completely legitimate use of the service, my A -> B transfer is pure MS. Any reason to worry?
I manage multiple accounts for different people and usually max out the limits every month. So IME, what you propose does not pose much risk, and I would do it without worrying too much.
