Thank you all for the responses. Looks like I's spending a few nights at either Amanpiri or FS Koh Samui so I'm hoping to save some money and use a free redemption in HKG. I changed my flights and will arrive at HKG Nov 14 at 3:35 and leave the next day at 1:30pm.

My hotel options are Grand Hyatt, Conrad, Ritz and Intercontinental. Is it a must to stay on Hong Kong Island? I'm thinking of doing the Star Ferry, have a nice dinner, and relax before the long flight back home. Would the Intercontinental be a good option?
