I received an email yesterday that I now have Gold status, I was 2200 points away from Gold status and assumed I'd get it in the fall when I do a bulk of my traveling. I'm not complaining just wondering if this is standard practice with Virgin. I also noticed my status points now say zero. Once you receive gold do you start over with status points? Has anyone been "bumped" to the next status level if you were close? I guess they can't take it once it's been issued....can they
