I disagree. Usually when you only get one side of the story, you are left feeling very sympathetic to that side. You then think "I wish I could hear the other side."

In this case, we are hearing one side of the story and that side is left looking pretty bad. Ollie might have great cause to be upset, but the reader can tell enough about the situation to infer that he likely came off as pompous and DYKWIA, arrogant and demanding. We can just see him "furious" and "demand[ing]" to see a manager and "losing [his] composure." We've seen it enough in airports and hotels to fill in the holes and have a pretty good vision of what took place.

I feel like this is an episode of Judge Judy where Ollie has stated his case. Now if the property even opened its mouth to start rebutting and telling its side, you just know Judy would tell the property to shut up because it is already winning and can't possible make things better by talking.
