Hawaii sure can get bumpy in the winter- remember a NW flight several years ago on a 753 that seemingly didn't stop shaking. On these routes there may be no clear air.
As for power- first reports of this are trickling in... In the next year it should be installed on 73H and 739 A/C (in every seat too ^)
