If so, how do you know what fare class each price is assigned to?
For instance, I'm looking at SAS GO Saver. What's the fare class for this?
Just wondering as I want to make sure it's one of the fare classes accepted for me to earn miles with United Mileage Plus program.
Welcome to Flyertalk,
itsjohn07. They don't exactly make it easy but it is possible. I have just made a dummy booking for EWR-ARN but the following steps should be the same for your trip.
After you select your flights, on the right side of the window, near the top, will be a box that says ‘Price and Info’ with the route, date and price of your flights, as well as the category — e.g., SAS Go Saver — which is actually a link. Click on the category-link and you get a pop-up box that says ‘Rules’. At the bottom of that is a link that says ‘Show detailed price rules’. Click on that link and you get a box that says ‘Fare conditions’. At the bottom of the list of conditions is a link that says ‘Full rules’. Click on that link and you get the ‘Full Rule Text’. On one of the first few lines will be a code that says, e.g., FCL: TLWUSC5. The first letter of the fare code, i.e.,
T, is the booking class.
Good luck.
cheers,
Henry
