Any mainline aircraft, as long as it's ETOPS-180 certified, can make it. It's basically the same as SFO-IAD, and shorter than SFO-BOS, which are run with pretty much all UA's narrowbody fleet.
Any mainline aircraft can make it from OVER LIH. It's getting off the ground at LIH that's the issue. LIH's runways are both only 6,500 feet long. That limits what equipment can be used without taking weight restrictions.
