Now I am not sure if whether the USD25 date change fee is only required for full redemptions, or if it applies to upgrades too, since it technically is still a revenue ticket as you payed for your underlying itinerary with cash, and changing the date of THAT does NOT require an additional fee. If you bought a REVENUE ticket and you want to change your dates, you can do this with a fee and if space is available you will automatically be booked and confirmed for your change.
If you bought an AWARD ticket (confirmed and issued) and you want to change the dates, and space is available for the dates you want to change it to, will they book and confirm it right away, or will they WAITLIST you still? Because this is what they do to all award bookings, just in case CX is still able to sell these seats at revenue.
