You DO NOT automatically get 1 mile for 1 TRY. This varies very much acording to where you use the card. Generally you would get 1 mile for most expenses outside of Turkey,but often as litle as 0,2 inside of T,unless its spent with partners of the program,you also get a 50 pct bonus if your elite,but that is also not on all spending,it is quite interesting reading your monthly statement,acrual varies vildly from month to month on the same spend. There are indeed very good campains that seems to be aimed at relatively high spending customers,at least thats my impresion since I always get those when I spend more than normaly.

In my experience,with a monhly spend of,say 2000-3000 usd,a monthly average of at least 2,5 mls/usd is quite realistic,more if you only would use the card for traveling/foreign expenses.

The campaigns are typically like this.

1. Whitind a certain month you get a certain amount of extra miles for a certain kind of expenditure over a certain amount,up to a limit,f.ex last year there were several months when I got 200 miles extra,up to 1000-1500,for evry supermarket use over 100 TRY. Theese are very good,-if you live in Turkey,that is.

2. Whitind a certain month you get double miles for all expenditure over a certain amount,was over 2000 TRY last year for at least 4 months,but up to 5000 extra miles. Theese campaigns are even better.

3. Some campaigns are only with certain hotels and retailers,theese are meeh !!!

If you have this card,-be prepared to litterally receive several SMS each and evry day.
