Assuming there will be some sort of 2014 gift that works a bit like this one, I wonder if anyone could advise me what they would do in my circumstance.

I made it to plat in the middle of 2012.

Last year, I only ended up with about 38 nights, so I'll drop from platinum to gold on March 1.

If there's any possibility of getting both a gold and platinum gift next year, I'd like to qualify for both. I know that's a big if, and maybe things won't work the same, but it's really no skin of my nose to hope.

So, the question is, what will happen if I get to 10 stays/25 nights before I drop to gold on March 1? Would I then potentially lose out on a gold requalification gift, since I technically was still plat when I achieved gold for 2015? It matters, because I have enough stays coming up in the next few weeks that I would make 10 stays easily before dropping to gold on 3/1. Hope that all makes sense.
