Back when I opened my Mitsubishi UFJ account, I had to specify that I wanted an international card. It has the Plus logo. I've used it without failure in North America, South America, Africa, S.E. Asia, Australia and Western Europe. Mrs. jib tells me that none of the banks in Italy accepted hers (the same card), which I found extraordinary, since I've never had a problem. However, she is always right. So Italian banks must be bad.
