Yes, you are correct in that there is no such published benefit, however at the same time a bag tag with "priority" written all over it is a pretty blatant piece of advertising and one that creates an expectation in the consumer that the airline is going to provide a specific service. As I said before, the continued use of these tags is misleading and they should probably be withdrawn.

I think though there will be complaints (like the OP) when a priority tag is not put on because a passenger is flying First/Business/WT+ or is Gold, Silver, Bronze, oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby,... and expects it.
I am still genuinely interested to know if the OP did see this as an advertised benefit hidden on the website somewhere. However I think they probably just expected it to happen.
