If every economy passenger has access to the lounge, then isn't it just like sitting out in the airport?

Sorry to sound elitist. I pay extra for increased service and ammenities. I would not want everybody to be using the same services I have (e.g. making it crowded) yet they have not paid for it or earnt it.
