Add to that:
churnable citi card at 50k every 65 days
Even better you can get 2 cards (100K) within 10 days

Mixed type Example:
Day 1 50K HHonors Visa
Day 9 50K HHonors Visa
Day 66 50K HHonors Visa
Day 74 50K HHonors Visa
Day 161 or later 50K HHonors Visa

There are some nice Cat 7 oceanfront Hilton properties in the Clearwater beach area.

8 nights = 380K points on 2 AXON awards, during peak season that's close to $3,500

I'm hoping to get 10 of these HH visa cards this year, $1000 spend over 4 months make them easy for just about anyone

That's why these generic 'which is better" threads come down to where the person is going to stay.

Within 5 miles of Clearwater Beach there are ocean or bayfront properties by Hilton, Doubletree, Marriott, Sheraton, Hyatt , IHG and Wyndham so between them all I am always able to get 8 free nights per year since 2004. This is why we chose this spot for our spring vacation every year
