I have not stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Can't really speak to it. But with the opening of the new MRT at the 101, it is more convenient now. However, W Taipei is still my favorite in Taipei. Location is fantastic (being right on top of the Hankyu department store and the Taipei City Hall MRT Station. Also, the Marvaleous suite is significantly bigger than the LM's junior suite. We have only spent 8 nights at LM, and did not enjoy our stay there. We have spent more than 60 days at W Taipei.
