Hello FTers. I am likely flying to SIN from LHR in March. Given all my long haul flying has been to the US with BA I quite fancy trying an alternative carrier. I have plenty of Avios so would be looking for redemption in J or F. So, if you could fly to SIN tomorrow and didn't want to fly direct with BA which other oneworld carrier would you choose? Based on reviews and feedback Cathay Pacific or Qatar look tempting? I would love to compare to Club World (with which I am very familiar) and BA F. I am happy to connect somewhere (DOH, HKG, FRA)...

Secondly (I know I need to read all the sticky on Avios redemption) is there an easy way to look up, say, partner (BA) redemption availability on CX? I can't do it on the Cathay website as I am not a member of their FF program. I'm not convinced the BA website is showing me all availability and it doesn't seem to show me indirect options (e.g. BA to FRA then CX to HKG - SIN).
