In addition to the road race mentioned by Blumie in post #5, the pdnPhotoPlus Conference and Expo (23,000 attendees) is taking place at the Javits Center from 10/30 to 11/01. If your Hilton quote is for one of Hilton's Times Square properties, it's not a bad quote, relatively speaking.
