I actually asked for the hotel and meals before they offered it to me.
Next day when I left I asked for the 600€ compensation at the desk but the staff there told me they couldn't do anything and had to go via the website.
I managed to speak with someone important there from the company who gave me after repeatedly asking a telephone number/address of Cathay where I could file my complaint.

I think I'll try to write them, if I fail to receive an answer or the money I'll probably go with the companies that can do that for you and only if you win they keep 25/30% of your compensation.
If you have any better idea pls let me know!
