Hello All,

I'd very much appreciate some advice from any of you more seasoned flyers out there and my apologies in advance if this is a silly question. I have done some digging around but am still not sure of what to do so thought I'd ask here.

I have a return flight with BA next month to Istanbul, and am then connecting in and out to Ankara with Turkish Airlines as part of my travel schedule. What do I need to do with regards to baggage? Will I be expected to collect it upon arrival at Istanbul and check it back in again with Turkish Airlines for the connecting flight? And would this be the same for the return journey?

Having not connected using different airlines since I was a kid (which was much easier as parents took care of all that mullarkey), I am unsure of the process here.
