I've been doing a lot of flying as MVPG on DL for the past 3 years or so. Honestly, I like DL's service - DL F I prefer to AS F. As MVPG, I feel like I get reasonable benefits on DL with SkyPriority, extra baggage, upgrades, etc. I haven't flown AF/KL in years; I did fly Alitalia once recently, but otherwise no other skyteam, so not exactly your situation.
In any case, three major factors have kept me at AS: I'm based in ANC, the change fee waiver, skypesos. Guess I won't try to talk you out of anything, I'll just let you know what's talked me out of it.
