The purpose of a forum like this is to exchange views and comment on experiences. I don't whine about LH's newly conceived policies, I state my view on them - very matter of factly. And I do believe comments here can be quite valuable for a company as they provide direct feedback from customers that probably are of more importance than the company's management would've thought when implementing some of their new policies.

Obviously LH is just an airline and any transaction with them can be seen as just that. But for years LH and myself seemed to be aligned in our interests, building a mutually loyal business relationship. I don't complain about LH withdrawing its alignment, I merely recognise the fact - and dare to question the validity of the underlying assumptions. If you wish this is my last action in being loyal: giving them my reason for turning my back on them.

Once LH provides enough incentives to win me back (price - good luck with that - or product-wise) I may again hand over my hard earned cash to them. Until then the cheaper convincing competition (BA) will earn some revenues I last year gave to LH without even considering its competition.
