I found the walls of the case too thin and flimsy. I think something was broken open because of it… toothpaste or shampoo (I can't recall). I also prefer the locks on the Topas vs. the zipper on the Salsa. When I compared the two side by side I prefered the stability of the Topas. Not happy with the bling factor as it draws attention but it's a risk I'll take. It is a little heavier but I've not found it to be a problem.
